Guidelines We Encourage
Be courteous, friendly, and always on-time.
Call the buyer to coordinate shipment dates and times. Call the seller at least 48 hours ahead of the shipment date, whenever possible.
Call the seller OR the buyer if schedules run amok.
Loads should move within specified dates and times on the Broker’s Note.
If changes occur from either the Seller or Buyer, inform us.
If you smell unusual odours or notice anything “odd” with the grain when you’re loading, please call us immediately. A load that could potentially be rejected should stay on the farm.
If you charge extra for loading/unloading time inform the seller/buyer as the situation develops. No one likes to see a surprise bill weeks after the incident occurred.
Please inform Market Master once loads have been scheduled.
Freight bills are to be sent direct to producer, unless specified.
Fax, email or phone-in scale tickets or weights to us as soon as the contract has been completed.
